Mexican Blackbird

ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons likes his motors classic yet contemporary; old-school, but mould-breaking. And his latest, the Mexican Blackbird, is a case in point. It's a 1958 Ford Thunderbird built by the SO-CAL Speed Shop as a mild custom; that is, subtly shaved and smoothed bodywork, scallops and a lowered stance. The interior is sumptuously trimmed in gold and black leather to match the paintwork, while power comes from a bone-stock 352ci Ford V8.
And it's just about the most beautiful Thunderbird SuckSqueezeBangBlow has ever seen.
