The Ford GT, a lesser-spotted muscle-supercar, has already become a modern classic - which creates a confusing identity for it, being so classically influenced by the GT40 to begin with - and you'd have to have a heart of stone not to fall in love with its lines. ...and, of course, its muscle car soul means that it's ripe for tuning. The standard Lysholm supercharger-equipped V8 provides 550bhp, but the example you see here has junked that 'charger for a Whipple unit, taking it closer to 700bhp. Overkill? Who cares?
