Strewth - the nineties are back with a vengeance!
This Holden Gemini, built with typical Australian exuberance, is (of course) a show car. I mean, look at the interior - it's impossible to tell where the seats end and the floor or doors begin. But that doesn't mean it's not functional; far from it in fact - the 2.0-litre engine has been bored out to 2.2-litres and complemented by a brace of turbos, it sits on custom shocks and the brakes are a mix of Nissan Skyline and Isuzu Piazza. Style-wise, it's a riot of House of Kolor shades; it's 1990s, it's Max Power, it's custom, it's hot rod, it's minitruck... it's more styles than you can shake a stick at. Most of all, though, it's detailed. Every time you look at it you find new angles to marvel at; the pillarless conversion, the spaceframed front, the bonnet cut-out, the shiny trumpets... and that insane paintwork. It looks like a life's work.
